Kayla Mobley: Visionary Leader & Architect of Athletic Potential Playing Career: Kayla Mobley (Coach KD) is a highly decorated former professional basketball player, national champion and hall of fame inductee. Graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Human Services, she consistently demonstrated the patience, discipline, and action required for elite performance. After becoming a National Champion in 2011 at Clayton State University, she began her illustrious eight-year career playing overseas culminated in different countries across Europe, including Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Estonia and Mexico. During her professional career, Kayla became a multi-time Overseas League Champion and 3-time Overseas MVP. Coaching Career: Transitioning from player to pioneering coach, Kayla leverages her profound understanding of the game and human development to cultivate the next generation of athletes. As a skills development trainer and mindfulness coach, her unique approach addresses the mental, physical, emotional, and physiological aspects of performance, fostering conscious presence and accelerated evolution in her players. Her comprehensive program integrates strength and conditioning, yoga, and guided meditation. Kayla's distinguished coaching career includes: * Head Coach for Penny Basketball Academy (boys 5-7th grade) for two years. * Assistant Coach for boys varsity basketball at St. Thomas Aquinas High School (2022-2023). * Assistant Coach for girls varsity basketball at NSU University School (2023-2024). * Currently, Head Coach for girls JV basketball and Assistant Coach for girls varsity at St. Thomas Aquinas High School (2024-2025). * Founder and coach of the girls' travel team, South Florida MOBSTARS, started in 2024 that continues to grow.
